My spouse and I were traveling with another couple. We liked having a two bedroom suite with microwave, refrigerator, and enough tableware to make small meals. Liked the balcony with 4 chairs, just big enough for all 4 of us to sit out there with a bottle of wine and small table for snacks. Scenery from balcony was moon coming across snow capped mountain, very nice view! One bedroom included a couch and chair, so we all got to watch an NFL Monday night football game together. Staff had good knowledge of local restaurants and attractions. We will have fond memories of our stay there.
The suite was a little awkward in that our friends had to pass through our bedroom to get outdoors. That would be better for a family, as the kids would not be as likely to sneak out at night without awakening mom and dad.
Its location was very good.
The accommodation is unsuitable for 4 adults,as advertised. There is only 1 bathroom, and the bedroom serves as the lounge area as well. Very awkward when travelling with adult friends.
Lake Louise is beautiful. Paradise lodge is ideally sited for the lake itself and the village provided you have a car. The bungalows/cabins are the originals form the 1940's but have been modernised sympathetically and have all mod cons and comfortable bathrooms. The cooking facilities are more than adequate with both a cooker and a large microwave. Coffee, tea and breakfast bars and oats are provided in the room as well as hot coffee being available in reception. It!s not cheap but nowhere is in the National Parks and we loved our stay here.
Everything. We loved our bungalow, especially the bath.
Excellent location, good cabin accommodation with good views of the mountains. Staff very helpful.
Cabins were slightly on the dark side otherwise very good
mature quiet setting
real wood stove would be nicer
We had a spacious 2 bedroom suite in a small block. It was equipped with a microwave & crockery for basic self catering. The management seemed keen on no noise so it was very quiet. The location is very handy for Lake Louise.
It was very pricey for what it was but it is a main tourist spot with not much accommodation about and Canada is expensive.
The bungalows were beautifully designed and a pleasure to spend time in.
Bungalows are beautiful, clean and equipped with all your need for the stay. Office staff is attending to every request you have. Surroundings are beautiful and it is close to major attractions.
Very nice room, convenient location.
Very expensive compared to nearby hotels with better location
good quality, nice houses - original country design
Family-run bungalows close to Lake Louise. Great attention to details. Extremely well-maintained.
Location not the most convenient. One km from Lake Louise, the lake, & 3 kms from Lake Louise, the village. Easy drive though.
Attractive cabins, immaculate grounds and comfortable suite (2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette and balcony.
Noise. The property is on the main road between Lake Louise and the village and road noise was awful until 11pm. There was also very little noise insulation between suites so we could hear people, extractors, baths emptying etc. our room faced the road so properties towards the rear of the site may be quieter
Beds v comfortable, V.picturesque setting. Clean, tidy
V. expensive - we paid $309 plus tax for 2 bedroom suite. this was non-refundable. no separate living room - part of one of the bedrooms - fine as it was summer and we sat outside at night when babies were in bed but this couldn't be done in the winter so would not recommend with small babies. shower not v powerful
We really enjoyed the cabin set up and the availability kitchen with a fridge. There were a lot of complimentary eats -- tea, coffee, cereal, granola bars, etc. Grocery store is close to buy basics to eat in the privacy of the cabin or the small balcony.
